With 16 years of music production experience, and 26 years of musical performance experience with a classically trained background, Louie Pagán’s breadth of musical prowess knows very few bounds. As a multi-instrumentalist and recording studio engineer, he provides an exceptional musical creation experience from demo stage to mastering — without the high pressure and stress factors typically encountered in higher end recording environments.

Louie’s work with Kansas City based bands such as Chance the Arm, Gumshoe Noir, Withermoth, Whiskey Hill, and many others spans a staggering range of styles, though his highest level of expertise centers around the more obscure rock and metal genres. His aim is to use whatever tools necessary to coax out the most sonically pristine recording from the groups he works with, while still retaining the truest components of their natural live sound.

Holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Production from the McNally Smith College of Music in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Louie has had the pleasure of lending a generous level of musical professionalism to a wide variety of projects in the greater Kansas City area for more than a decade.
